Registration is now open for Summer Read 2026! ☀️📚

Summer Read is an all-ages program that encourages lifelong reading in children and adults, helps bridge the summer reading gap, and builds connections within our community.

Join the fun to reach daily reading goals, earn fun prizes along the way, and redeem tickets for grand prizes.

✨ Stop by any Information Desk to register. When you register, you'll receive an Unearth a Story Magnet—one per household, while supplies last.

🥪 Free lunch returns to the library June 8 through August 14! Join us Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM in the Youth Services Craft Room, where kids and teens ages 18 and under can enjoy lunch and an activity. No registration is required.

We are proud to partner with the Community Action Council of Portage County for the third year to provide free, nutritious lunches for children and teens throughout the summer. ☀️😎

Libraries 🤝 Local Businesses

Libraries aim to build connections, spark curiosity, and create opportunities for our community to discover and explore new ideas. One way we bring this mission to life is by partnering with local businesses to create meaningful connections, while also supporting the small businesses that make our downtown thrive. 💛

Last week, we welcomed Alicia from Flourish Plant Mkt. for a hands-on workshop focused on plant propagation. Attendees learned simple, sustainable techniques and left with their own propagation starter kits and plant clippings. 🌱

By partnering together, we were able to offer a program rooted in sustainability, creativity, and community connection. Be sure to check out our program guides for more upcoming community partnerships! 📚🤝
