Don’t let this one float down the river – it’s Nile, our Pet of the Week!

This two-year-old pittie is a sweet, wiggly boy who loves affection. Everyone who meets Nile falls in love with him!

Nile loves to play and go on walks. He often looks back to check in with his person when they’re out on an excursion. He’s also very smart, and already knows his commands like sit, come, shake, down, and “leave it.”

He seems to do well with other large dogs who don’t mind his rowdy play style. Nile would do best in a home without cats or small animals.

Would you like to make Nile yours? He’s neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. As our Pet of the Week, Nile’s adoption fee is reduced, but a pet license fee may still apply.

In addition to gaining a new best friend, all pet adopters at RASKC get the opportunity to enroll in Fetch Pet Insurance. Fetch offers the most comprehensive plan in North America with no restrictions on breed, age, or size. Together, RASKC and Fetch are making sure pets are happy and healthy in their new forever homes! Also, thanks to our friends at Rover, all dog adopters at RASKC get a $40 voucher toward training.

Come take a look at all the awesome animals waiting for their “fur-ever” homes at the King County Pet Adoption Center, 21615 64th Ave. S. in Kent. Adoption hours are noon to 5 p.m. weekdays and noon to 4 p.m. weekends. Note that we will be closed on Friday, June 19 for the Juneteenth holiday.

We had so much fun paw-rtnering with City of Kent Government for these two pet events.

Same time next year, Kent? 😉
