Another unforgettable Spring Dance Recital is in the books! 🌸

More than 160 dancers took the stage today at the Kent-Meridian Performing Arts Center for the 2026 Spring Dance Recital to showcase their hard work and talent! Performances ranged from ballet and tap to Ceili Irish dancing 🩰💃

Thank you to our incredible Kent Parks staff, instructors, and all of our parent volunteers who helped make today possible. And one more round of applause for all our dancers! You are all absolutely amazing! 👏👏👏

The Kent Parks Summer Playground & Lunch program runs weekdays from June 23 to August 7 at Chestnut Ridge Park, Morrill Meadows Park, and West Fenwick Park.

We held our very first music recital today! 🎹🎸

Parents, family, and friends came to support our 30+ performers during their piano and guitar performances. Plus, they were treated to special numbers from our three incredible teachers! We are so proud of our Kent Parks participants - your music was beautiful! 🫶

We have partnered with the Seattle Thunderbolts Cricket Academy to provide a 4-day opportunity to learn the game of cricket! 👏
