Community Investment Award
The Community Investment Award recognizes businesses or individuals in the greater Kent area in support of economic growth by making a tangible investment, reinvestment, or improvement to buildings/facilities. Multiple businesses or individuals can be receive the Community Investment Award annually.
Tree City Growth Award Presented by 717 Credit Union
The Tree City Growth Award honors young professionals in that live or work in the Kent Area. Created to honor young professionals (ages 25-39) who are recognized as trendsetters in their industries, leaders in their organizations and in the community, and catalysts for growth and impact. Multiple individuals can be receive the Tree City Growth Award annually.
Small Business Person of the Year Award
The Small Business Person of the Year Award recognizes a person who contributes to the economic health of the community through exceptional business practices and customer service, exemplifies leadership, and demonstrates a high level of community involvement through participation in civic and community activities for the betterment of the Kent community. Business must have 30 or less employees.
W.W. Reed Medal for Public Service
The W.W. Reed Medal for Public Service is the highest honor conferred by the KACC since 1946. This honor is bestowed on individuals, institutions, or organizations whose community service has resulted in the advancement of the common good, promotion of public welfare, or stimulation of public service.
