Please join us in congratulating Dispatcher Linda Leanza for the Gold Star Telecommunicator Award she received in recognition of her outstanding contribution as a police dispatcher for the City of Streetsboro. On 9/7/2023, Linda was recognized by Ohio APCO (Association of Public Safety Communications Officials) and Ohio NENA (National Emergency Number Association).
Dispatcher Leanza exemplifies the characteristics of the Gold Star nominees by her willingness to be a team player, her professionalism, by showing pride in her work, taking on extra assignments and tasks in addition to her day to day duties. Linda will always go above and beyond to help anyone who calls or comes in our station. Thousands of you have talked to her over the years, many of you on the worst days of your life. She is the senior member of our exceptional dispatch team who will answer your call and be the calm and caring voice during your emergency. Thank you, Dispatcher Leanza, for your on-going service and dedication to the men and women of the Streetsboro Police and Fire Departments and our Streetsboro community.
