Last week, we celebrated students who consistently embody the values that make our Titan community strong. Through their character, leadership, integrity, compassion, and commitment to doing what is right, these students have set an outstanding example for their peers.

We wanted to provide a staffing update for the coming school year at Grand River Prep. 💫

Mike Ebbert, who has served in a variety of capacities at GRP over the last 13 years, including the last 6 as a dean, has accepted a position as a Special Education Supervisor within National Heritage Academies. We are very proud of Mike for his growth and wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We are also grateful that one of the schools Mike will be supporting will be Grand River Prep, so we will still see him around the building at times! We are actively interviewing candidates to step into Mike's role, and we look forward to introducing the new hire over the summer.

Thank you for all you have done for the GRP Titan Community Mr. Ebbert!💙

Our fastest Titans are unstoppable!

Since our last update, we’ve set 5 more track & field school records bringing our total to 8 new events with school records this season! Please show some love to our school’s most accomplished athletic team and their athletes!

Our girls 4x200m relay team made up of Aniylah Rogers, Zamere Dandridge, Bella Rynd, & Layla Nash finished 4th in the region with a blazing time of 1:53.60 breaking last year’s school record!

Elijah Louissaint broke the school record in the 200m at regionals as well running a 23.73! He eclipsed the previous record from 2023 held by our sprint coach, Coach Pewee!

Elijah Lipscomb had a huge PR and broke a 9-year school record with a season best time of 4:40.71 in the 1600m at Distance Under the Lights! This makes our team captain the most accomplished male distance runner in our school’s history!

Liah Mutwota, a standout junior, broke the school record set last year in high jump with a jump of 4’3” at Comstock! Liah also competed as a top hurdler & sprinter for the conference championship winning girls team!

Bella Rynd matched the school record in long jump at Comstock with a jump of 14’4.5” tying the record from 2019. Bella is also a top sprinter for the team and has been a huge part of our success this season!

Great job Titans! 💙
