The scammers are back at it again using Highway 60 Motor Sales to scam people. We've gotten two calls from potential buyers, who realized they were being scammed. This scammers website is not our local business' website. The name is very similar to our local business. The scammers are using the photo of the local business this time. Last time they had a website for Highway 60 Motor Sales, they had a fancy showroom. Now they are better with their attention to detail. The address you need to look for the local business is 1004 Hwy 60, Kenyon, MN. The local business does not sell fancy cars like Ferraris, BMWs, Aston Martins, and Lexus. I did call the number on the scammer's website and left a message. Unfortunately, they have not returned my phone call.

School is just around the corner and we are ready as always to support and cheer on our knights!🛡️

This is for all the students to help get them the resources they may need to excel with academics and athletics. Whether it’s basic back to school supplies, classroom necessities to help students with special needs, or cleats for the big game, we want to help give our knights the tools to make them successful.🖤❤️🩶

With that being said we are proud to reveal
THE KNIGHT PATCH‼️⚔️

⚫️inspired by our very own K-W knights we made this patch to raise funds for the Kenyon-Wanamingo High School and it’s activities / athletics booster clubs.⚫️

KPD Officers will be wearing these patches on their uniforms during the month of September (Back to School Month)🚔👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

🔴This patch will cost: $10 (Same as the pink patch). 100% of the proceeds will go to our knights.🔴

Starting tonight at National Night Out you can pre-order a patch on a sign-up sheet.😎

Thank you for your support, and stay safe!

In Minnesota, there has been an increase in accidents regarding e-scooters, e-bikes, and e-motos. Here's a cheat sheet to help with learning and understanding the laws that go along with these forms of transportation. The council has asked the public to be aware of the increase with kids riding on these. Parents are expected to make sure their kids are following the State Laws and any local regulations. Please help with keeping your kids safe on the roads. Reminder, per state statute, regarding bikes, e-bikes, at Stops Signs, "if there is not a vehicle in the vicinity, the operator may make a turn or proceed through the intersection without stopping."
