While many families were celebrating Independence Day with friends, food, and fireworks, the firefighters of North Central Fire Protection District were answering the call.

Throughout the holiday, our crews responded to 38 emergency incidents, including:
🔥 10 Fire Calls
🚑 17 Medical Calls
⚠️ 1 Hazardous Condition
📞 10 Other Emergency Responses

Behind every number is a firefighter leaving their family to protect yours, responding quickly when our community needed them most.

We are proud of the dedication, professionalism, and teamwork demonstrated by our personnel throughout one of the busiest holidays of the year. We also extend our appreciation to our dispatchers and mutual aid partners who helped ensure every call received a response.

Finally, thank you to everyone in our community who celebrated responsibly. Every safe decision helps reduce preventable emergencies and allows our crews to remain available for those facing true emergencies.

Together, we continue working to keep our community safe.

🇺🇸 For 250 years, the American flag has stood as a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and unity.

Today, that symbol proudly rides on every North Central Fire Protection District apparatus thanks to the partnership between the North Central Firefighters Labor Union and the department.

This project is more than the installation of flags—it’s a reflection of the relationship between firefighters, their Union, and the community they serve. It represents pride in our country, commitment to one another, and the responsibility carried every time an engine answers the call.

As we celebrate Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary, we’re reminded that service is about more than responding to emergencies. It’s about carrying forward the values that unite us and leaving a legacy for the firefighters who will serve long after us.

Join North Central Fire Protection District, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, and the Rotary Club of Kerman for a free Life Jacket Giveaway at Skaggs Bridge.
