Forwarded from Barb Zimmerman...The Clampers climbed mountains, jumped hurdles, and paid$$$ to get a new, beautiful plaque made and installed at Roads End today!! Al Price did a great job MC-ing the gathering, and Rich read the plaque. Stories were shared & hugs were freely given. It was great to see dear friends there & the dedicated group of Clampers! Iā€™m so thankful I could be a part of this special day!

The new plaque was generously donated by the Peter Lebeck Chapter #1866 and the Dr. Samuel Gregg George Chapter #1855 of the Honorable Order of E Clampus Vitus.

On Saturday, September 16 at 11:00 the "Clampers" will be replacing the old, destroyed plaque at Roads End with a new one! Anyone may attend!

What an amazing day! Today we celebrated Fran Keegans 90th birthday! Got to visit and catch up with a lot of friends I have not seen in a while! Happy Birthday Grandma! I would not be the person I am today if not for your leadership, guidance, and mentorship while growing up at Roads End Resort. You taught me many life lessons still with me today! We love you and Happy Birthday!

One of these days I am going to organize a run from Kernville to Roads End. Just a 16 miler! Anyone interested? At the end you have to swim across the river and jump off the rock to get a finisher medal!
