Congrats to the class of 2026 and to these two amazing young people!!
North Central High School proudly recognized several outstanding students during this yearβs Senior Awards Night. Among the eveningβs top honors, Jasmine Cruz-Salinas and Cooper Quigley each received Top Academic Honors for their exceptional dedication, hard work, and academic excellence throughout the school year.
Cooper Quigley earned the distinction of Valedictorian for the North Central High School Class of 2026, while Jasmine Cruz-Salinas was recognized as Salutatorian for the graduating class. Their commitment to success both inside and outside the classroom reflects the high standards of North Central High School (NCHS) and the NCHS Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program.
Capping off the evening was the presentation of the most prestigious honor awarded at North Central High School β the Bronze Knight Male and Female Award. This distinguished recognition is based not only on academic achievement, but also leadership, character, and overall impact on the school community. Selected through votes from the faculty and staff, this yearβs Bronze Knight recipients were Jasmine Cruz-Salinas and Cooper Quigley.
Additionally, Jasmine Cruz-Salinas was recognized as the Top Cadet for School Year 2025β2026, highlighting her outstanding leadership, dedication, and service throughout the year. Jasmine is currently a member of the South Carolina National Guard and will complete her military training this summer before attending the University of South Carolina as part of the Army ROTC program. βGo Cocksβ
Cooper Quigley officially received his appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point and will begin his journey this summer as a member of the βLong Gray Line.β
