🌟 Meet Janet Bruegl of Crafty Jan’s, LLC 🌟

We are excited to welcome Janet Bruegl, a member of the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribe, to our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Janet is the talented artist behind Crafty Jan’s, LLC, where her creativity shines through an incredible variety of handmade and designed pieces. Her work includes print and computer-generated art, jewelry, crafts, drinkware, turned pens and seam rippers created on a lathe, laser-designed cutting boards, 3D-printed toys, hand-knitted Christmas stockings, crocheted blankets and afghans, and much more!

We are excited to have Janet joining us and sharing her wide range of creativity and craftsmanship with the community.

🌟 Meet Yvette Peguero of Minomin Beadwork Design 🌟

We are excited to welcome Yvette Peguero, a proud elder of the Menominee Nation, to our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Yvette is a retired educator who dedicated 41 years to the Oneida Nation School System, serving as a middle school teacher, assistant principal, and principal. Now residing in Madison near her children and grandchildren, she continues to share her passion for culture through her beautiful beadwork.

Through Minomin Beadwork Design, Yvette not only creates beadwork but also enjoys teaching others and passing this important tradition on to future generations. She believes in the responsibility of teaching younger generationsβ€”and the next seven generationsβ€”to help keep the culture and traditions of her people alive.

We are honored to have Yvette joining us and sharing her artistry, knowledge, and dedication to preserving this beautiful legacy.

We are excited to welcome Delta Waupekenay of Delta Rae Photography LLC, who will be joining us for our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Delta is a photographer with a passion for capturing life’s special moments, offering newborn, maternity, family, children, and senior portrait sessions.

In addition to her photography, Delta and her mother, Valarie Dixon, are the mother-daughter team behind Willow & Ash Decor Co., a home dΓ©cor shop offering gifts, locally made products, and more. Delta Rae Photography operates from a separate studio space within the shop, bringing both creative businesses together under one roof.

We’re excited to welcome Clarissa Friday of Clarissa Friday Photography DBA Native Clarity to our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Clarissa is a tribal member of the Forest County Potawatomi Community and a descendant of the Ho-Chunk Nation. An Indigenous photographer based in Wisconsin, she works with Native entrepreneurs and organizations throughout the Great Lakes area to create authentic, intentional imagery.

🌟 Meet Tyson Powless of UN3EK SYSTEM 🌟

We are excited to welcome Tyson Frank Powless, a progressive Indigenous artist, musician, and designer of the Oneida and DinΓ© Nations, who will be joining us for our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Tyson’s creativity is influenced by the legacies of his parents, Dr. John Powless II of the Oneida Tribe of Wisconsin and Wisdoma Lifewarrior, a DinΓ© artist and fashion designer from Two Grey Hills, New Mexico. His work explores graphic design, visual technology, and graffiti, along with skills he developed while studying welding, sculpture, and silversmithing at Arizona State University.

As the founder of UN3EK SYSTEM, established in 2005, Tyson brings together fine art, design, music, and fashion through mixed-media works that blend contemporary expression with Indigenous perspectives.

We are honored to have Tyson share his creativity and talents with us at this special event!

🌟 Meet Sunny E. Webster of It’s S.E.W. Me Designs 🌟

We are excited to welcome Sunny E. Webster, a member of the Oneida Nation of Wisconsin, who will be joining us for our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Born and raised in Chicago, Sunny moved to the Oneida Reservation in 2016. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The Illinois Institute of Art and discovered her love of sewing while taking her first sewing class in college.

After years of designing costumes for drag queens and stage performers, Sunny began creating clothing and accessories featuring Indigenous designs through her business, It’s S.E.W. Me Designs. Her work brings together her Oneida heritage, the contemporary influence of growing up in Chicago, and the sparkle, drama, and vibrant color of the stage.

Sunny loves creating unique garments that celebrate all the different facets of who she is, making each piece a beautiful blend of culture, creativity, and contemporary style.

We are excited to have Sunny share her creativity and designs with us at this special event!

🌟 Meet Ella Benton 🌟

We are excited to welcome Ella Benton, a DinΓ© jewelry artist originally from Arizona who has called Minnesota home for the past 30 years, to our Native American Art Showcase on September 25, 2026!

Ella has been creating her own jewelry for nearly 30 years and began vendoring about four years ago. What started small has continued to grow as she shares her creativity and craftsmanship with others.

Her earrings feature a beautiful variety of materials, including Bicone beads, bone, shells, traditional Ghost (Cedar) beads, and natural stones. Most of Ella’s earrings are one-of-a-kind, making each piece truly unique.

We are excited to have Ella join us and share her beautiful handmade jewelry with our community!
