Road construction on Hwy 47 from County VV West to the Langlade County line is set to start on 6/22/2026 and continue until winter.
The project will first focus on culvert replacement, patching and guardrail work. Once that work is completed, sometime in August, the same things will be done to Hwy 55 from Keshena to the Langlade County line.
In the Fall, pavement resurfacing work will begin from Keshena to the Neopit city limit, continuing north of Neopit until Winter weather prevents further work.
Both Hwy 47 and Hwy 55 will be open throughout the construction, though there will be flagging operations, with wait times anywhere from 10-20 minutes, especially during the culvert replacement work.
With all that being said, this construction work will be affecting many of our routes, primarily our Neopit Flex routes. There may be times where the route is running late so we are asking our riders to please schedule accordingly. Whenever possible, we would ask that you take the route prior to the route you would normally take, so you can ensure you are not late to your appointment/obligation.
We also ask that our riders please be patient with us and our drivers while we navigate this much needed construction.
