Wednesday January 24th at 6pm in the Borough chambers
The School Board will now be holding another hearing a Citizen’s Request for Reconsideration of Instructional Materials and from what I have been told, it is the same two books that were brought to the Library advisory board meeting to be considered for removal from the Teen section of the library.
The books are FLAMER BY MIKE CURATO And
RED HOOD BY ELANA K. ARNOLD
Flamer took me a half a day and Red Hood took me a week but thats becuase I have a life... ;) meaning I am busy...

Please take the time to read the books, you can find them as electronic books on amazon or most other platforms. They are fast reads and I actually found both to be enjoyable and informational.

if you can take the time to show up and speak to thse books, please do.. as tiresome as it is, we need to keep speaking up for our right to read what we choose and to decide for our family what they read.. the freedom to make these choices should not be up to a few individuals.
if you haven't read these books Flamer is a quick read, and Red hood is also a quick read if you have the time.. as a 57 year old GEN X er, I enjoyed both and I related to both...
