And just like that... they’re on their way! 🐻🌲🎓

Today we celebrated the Class of 2026! From their very first day at Lakeside Learning Center to this proud moment, it has been an honor to watch these little ones grow. Whether they’ve been in our classrooms for two years or a wonderful couple of months, they have mastered the art of being kind, being brave, and "trying everything."

Tiny hands are making giant leaps today! While we’re excited for summer fun together before the "big school" bells ring, we know these leaders are ready for the next bend in the trail.

Something big is being built at Lakeside Learning Center! We are officially "constructing" a brand-new classroom for our 4-year-olds, and the theme is Our Neighborhood! 🏗️🏠

From a play grocery store to a tiny post office, we are creating a space where our students can explore the world around them and learn what it means to be a great neighbor. But every big construction project needs a little help from the community! 🤝

We have set up two ways you can help us reach our "Grand Opening" day:

I didn’t expect cinnamon toast to make me emotional… but here we are 🥹

This week at Lakeside, I made cinnamon toast the way my Grandma Maxine used to make it—
warm bread, butter melted just right, that perfect sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar…

And something happened.

The kids slowed down.
They smiled more.
They sat a little closer.

It felt like home ❤️

It reminded me that the little things matter more than we think.
Not big, fancy moments—just simple, consistent love.

And I’ll be honest… part of what made it so easy to do for a whole group of kids was this little shaker I started using 👇
