We are just 3 days away from the Hog Days Parade!!

Saturday, at 2:00 p.m.

People have asked if Kewanee Band is marching this year. We use their entire campus to set up the parade, of course they'll be there! Check it out.

We are just days away from the Kewanee Hog Days Parade! What might be a 1st in parade history is a land and air entry!

OSF Healthcare will have their usual land based entry in the parade ( #19) but this year they will have one of their Life Flight helicopters flying the parade route as we start the parade at 2:00 p.m.

So keep your eyes to the sky and see a little bit of Hog Days history in the making!! Thanks OSF

Tyler and Anne Crabtree and their children Nora and Blake cut the ribbon of their new venture - Kewanee Paint & Supply. Located at 104 W. 2nd St. in downtown Kewanee the Benjamin Moore dealer carries a full assortment of paints and products. The store is also accessible through Good's Furniture.

The Hot Rods will makes you want to
Twist & Shout!

Join us Thursday night at Veterans' Park for our final concert of the year. Music starts at 6:30 p.m.

KHS FFA will be serving grilled items beginning at 5:00 p.m.

The Hotrods are a group of players that have been around the Quad Cities for a while. Originally founded by Richie Reeves in 2014.

Most members of the band have played for over 40 years in the local music scene. Following our passion of 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s Rock and Roll Music.

The Elmwood Marching Trojans will be our guests on September 5th. Get your parade entries in by Friday!!!

Just received the Official notice that the Navy Band Great Lakes will be marching in the Hog Days Parade September 5th.

Also appearing will be the Annawan/Wethersfield Marching Titans, Kewanee Marching Boilermakers, Elmwood Marching Trojans. We also have 2 Youth Drill teams, South Side Steel from Peoria and Marching Avenirs High Steppers from the Quad Cities.

Our good friends from Princeton, GES Sound will once again have a colorful and musical float and as a special ending Israel Corral will have 20+ dancing horses with live music.

That's just some of the musical entries as always the parade will feature many other entries with tractors, queens, fire engines, Shriners and everything else a small town parade features.
