🧹 Kewaunee County Emergency Management's Clean Sweep is coming up! ♻️

Mark your calendar for Thursday, September 17th!

📅 New day this year! Clean Sweep has typically been held on a weekend, but this year’s event is happening on Thursday.

It’s a great opportunity to safely dispose of unwanted household hazardous materials and help keep Kewaunee County clean and safe. 🌎

With fun workshops including kayaking, fire building, leathercraft, woodworking, intro to fishing, turkey call, hunter safety, air rifle, flower crafts, plaster tracks, wood burning, bee keeping, and mosaics, there's something for almost everyone 😊

Outdoor Adventure Day registration is now open!

Unleash your inner explorer at the Kewaunee County 4-H Outdoor Adventure Day, where the thrill of the wild meets the beauty of nature.

The event takes place at the Black Ash Gun Club in Algoma, on Saturday, October 3, 8:45AM - 2:00PM.

Workshop choices include: kayaking, fire building, leathercraft, woodworking, intro to fishing, turkey call, hunter safety, air rifle, flower crafts, plaster tracks, wood burning, bee keeping, and mosaics.

Designed for members and friends in grades 6-13.

Cost: $10 per person.

American Legion Post 262 Luxemburg, is partnering with Thumb Knuckle Brewing Company to host Pints for Patriots tonight.

Another Back to School Store is history! (And yes, that’s a pun.) 😂

The Back-to-School Program is an income-based yearly event where roughly 300 kids pick out a back pack and stuff them with needed school supplies. Everything from hygiene items to socks, shoes and books.

Bridging Brighter Smiles is a mobile dental hygiene program that comes into schools to provide preventative dentalcare. Families can sign up every year at the the Back-to-School Program.

We also want to recognize our sponsors and all of the young helpers serving the community by volunteering their time at the Back-to-School Program!
