We are upgrading our audiology sound booth to better serve our patient community with newer, enhanced equipment!
During this brief maintenance and installation window, audiogram availability is limited:
• Urgent Care: Patients with urgent clinical hearing needs will continue to receive priority scheduling.
• Routine Appointments: If you have a routine or annual hearing screening scheduled, our team will reach out directly if your appointment needs to be adjusted.

We will share another update the moment our new system is fully online and ready for full routine scheduling. Thank you for your understanding as we work to improve your care!

⚓ Change of Charge: Honoring Our Leadership ⚓

Last Friday, August 21, 2026, Naval Branch Health Clinic Key West conducted a formal Change of Charge ceremony, marking a significant milestone as we bid farewell to Cmdr. Stephanie Clapper and officially welcomed Cmdr. Aaron Eckard as our new Officer-in-Charge.

Under Clapper’s outstanding leadership, our clinic achieved exceptional operational readiness and healthcare success. We are deeply grateful for her dedication, mentorship, and service to our mission, and we wish her fair winds and following seas in her next chapter.

We also extended a warm welcome to Eckard as he assumed charge. We look forward to continuing our mission of excellence and patient care under his guidance and leadership.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the ceremony!

READINESS IN ACTION l NMRTU KEY WEST SAILORS SHARPEN LIFESAVING SKLILLS

Sailors assigned to NMRTU Key West recently completed recertification training for Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) Tier III, reinforcing the critical medical skills required to provide lifesaving care in operational environments.

Through hands-on realistic training scenarios, participants refreshed and demonstrated proficiency in assessing and treating casualties, control life-threatening hemorrhage, manage airways, and delivering effective care under challenging conditions.

Incoming NMRTU Key West Officer in Charge Cmdr. Eckard, alongside Senior Enlisted Leader Chief Conant, observed a portion of the training, underscoring the team’s commitment to maintaining a highly trained, medically ready force and taking care of their patients.

While we might be geographically distant, our shared dedication to patient care and operational readiness keeps us closely connected. We are incredibly proud to represent the MSC down here in the Keys!

Naval Branch Health Clinic Sailors take part in a Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) training course. TCCC bridges the gap between normal clinical duties that Hospital Corpsmen conduct and combat realities by designing battlefield situations and readiness to deliver life-saving care at the point of injury.
