Dear HOB Buccaneer Families,
We want to share an important update regarding student schedules. Earlier today, schedules were posted in error before our scheduling process was complete. We sincerely apologize for any confusion this may have caused.
At this time, our team is still actively working to finalize schedules to ensure that each student’s placement best supports academic success, individual needs, and a positive school experience. As we continue this process, adjustments will be made, including aligning students to appropriate courses and offering flexible course options where possible.
Please know that our priority is getting this right for every student. Updated schedules will be shared once the process is complete.
Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued partnership as we prepare for an outstanding school year at Horace O’Bryant.

🌞📚 Summer Reminder for Families! 📚🌞
We know summer has just begun and we hope you’re enjoying every minute! But as we all know, summer has a way of flying by, and before you know it, the new school year will be here.
This is a great time to take care of those important dentist and doctor appointments while schedules are more flexible. If appointments need to happen during the school year, be sure to use our school calendar to help plan visits on days off whenever possible.
Thank you for your continued support of our students—especially when it comes to attendance. You did an amazing job this past year making sure your children were here and ready to learn, and we truly appreciate your partnership! ❤️🖤❤️🖤

We are excited to announce that Horace O’Bryant School will have an active School Advisory Council (SAC) for the 2026–2027 school year!
The SAC is a great opportunity for parents to be involved, share input, and help shape decisions that impact our students, school culture, and programs. Your voice matters, and together we can continue to make HOB an even stronger learning community.

The New Worlds Reading Initiative is a free Florida literacy program for VPK-grade 5 public school students, including charter school students, not meeting grade-level expectations.
