Reminder to check your email for notes from last meeting and link to do a survey on the future of the post. Reminder on the meeting this Wed at the American Legion (or join online). Still time to sign up for the fishing tournament and we can use some donations/ sponsors to help the relief fund. Please do the survey by this weekend and join the team working on the future of the post -- contact Mark Tobin or Jim Wende if you want to be part of what is next.

14th Annual VFW Fishing Tournament is June 19th - June 21st, 2026 in Key West Florida.

We have five different species of fish and seven angler categories. There are nineteen guaranteed cash prizes, highlighted by a $15,000.00 prize for the heaviest Dolphin. We hope to see at our event!

Thank you and for the amazing food after the meeting and of course Patti behind the bar helping with refreshments at the American Legion on Stock Island after our meeting. Keep an eye out for a survey coming from the "Way Ahead" committee on shapping our post into the future. Next meeting is June 10th and your participation and input will help enable this.

Reminder on post meeting this Wed at 1830 hours at the Legion on Stock Island upstairs (enter thru bar elevator). Food and drink after for those who attended the meeting -- those on zoom are welcome too. Check your email for monthly notes from last meeting. Fishing tournament coming up and we need sponsors donations and boats to sign up for the fundraiser for the relief fund which enables so much in this community.

Reminder on monthly meeting tomorrow. 2nd Wed of the month at 1830 hours on the 2nd floor of the American Legion on Stock Island -- go into bar and take elevator up please. Email with minutes from January meeting sent out a few days ago. We will have pizza after the meeting from a Key West Vet business. If you can attend VA town hall tonight your attendance at both meetings will help future veterans.

VETERANS TOWN HALL MEETING SCHEDULED IN KEY WEST ON APRIL 7; MIAMI VA HOSPITAL REPRESENTATIVES WILL ATTEND



KEY WEST, FL – Florida Keys Veterans are invited to attend a Veterans town hall meeting on Tuesday, April 7, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Harvey Government Center in Key West.



Representatives from the Miami VA Hospital will be on-site to provide important updates, share information about available services and benefits, and answer questions from Veterans, their families, and caregivers.
