It was an honor to join Chief Edwin "Eddie" Castro’s family, friends, and members of the Key West Fire Department as we unveiled the sign dedicating the future Fire Station #3 in his name.

Chief Castro devoted decades to serving our community. His legacy of leadership and service will continue to inspire generations of firefighters in our community.

It was a privilege to present the dedication sign, and celebrate a life so deeply committed to the City of Key West!

What an incredible evening at Duval Donates!

It was an honor to attend this amazing community event benefiting Officer Mike Pettee and Deputy Tiffany Rodda —and I even had the privilege of being the guest bartender of the night!

Key West truly is one of a kind. Time and time again, our community comes together to lift one another up when it matters most. The generosity, compassion, and sense of unity on display last night are exactly what make this island so special.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the businesses, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, musicians, and everyone who came out to support such a meaningful event!

What a fantastic day at the 2nd Annual Cops & Kids Summer Splash!

A special thank you to Mr. Floyd Jenkins, Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police, for organizing another incredible event that brought our community together. And a heartfelt thank you to all of the sponsors, our law enforcement partners, first responders, and everyone who helped make this event such a success 👏

It was wonderful to see families spending time with our local law enforcement officers and first responders, learning more about the important work they do, cooling off at the splash pad, and enjoying a great summer day!

It was an honor to attend the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter JAMES Change of Command Ceremony today in Key West.

We are grateful to the men and women of the United States Coast Guard for their unwavering commitment to protecting our nation and serving our communities.

The City’s new Adopt-a-Drain program invites residents, businesses, and neighborhood groups to adopt a nearby storm drain and help keep it clear of leaves, litter, and debris.

Cleaning the surface around a drain before and after stormy weather can help reduce localized flooding, keep neighborhoods cleaner, and prevent pollution from reaching our canals, nearshore waters, and ocean.

A few minutes can make a big difference. Find a drain near you and adopt it today!
