The Charter Review Commission currently meets every four years to review, and recommend changes to our city charter.

The Commission is made up of five members of the electorate (registered voters living within city limits) that are appointed by the city council. These members recommend amendments to the charter to the city council via resolutions. Residents have the opportunity to give their feedback to the city council at upcoming city council meetings during the public hearings on the proposed amendment resolutions.

If the amendment resolutions are passed by the city council, the amendments will be placed on the ballot and go before the entire electorate for a vote during the upcoming city elections/ballot April 13th, 2027.
