We appreciate all of the bakers who entered and helped make the contest such a fun community event. We encourage even more participants to submit their favorite pies next year and help us continue growing this tradition.

We are also looking for volunteer judges for next year’s contest. If you enjoy community events and great homemade pie, we would love to have you involved!

Show off your favorite family recipe for your chance to win bragging rights! The Heritage Commission Keystone Heights , invites you to participate in its annual Fourth of July Pie Baking Contest on Saturday, July 4. Registration begins at 9 a.m., Pie Baking Contest is at 12:30 p.m.

• Pie baking contest is open to all ages.
• Pie baking contest is open to amateur bakers only.
• Pies entered in the pie baking contest must be made from scratch- no store-bought crust or fillings.
• All pies entered in the pie baking contest must have an entry form and recipe card. The recipe card must list all ingredients used in your pie.
• Please bring your pies to the Heritage Commission table around 12:30 and don’t forget to keep them cool!

‼️UPDATE: We appreciate that the artist immediately contacted us, she is coming to clean the court up. Let’s continue to work together to keep our public parks looking great.‼️

🚫 Help Us Protect Keystone Heights Parks 🚫

This isn’t art—it’s vandalism. The chalk paint used will not come off with water and light scrubbing. We hope a cleaning company can get this off without permanent damage.

The tire skid marks on the court are not young boys having fun- it’s vandalism. The Sheriff’s Office has their photos.

The eBike damage wasn’t a young man having fun- it was vandalism. He has been trespassed from our parks for two years and charged with vandalism.

Our parks belong to all of us. They are places for our families, your children, our student athletes, and visitors to enjoy—not vandalize.

We need your help. If you see these things happening to your parks, please tell the offender to stop, call City Hall (352) 433-4764, or the Sheriff’s non-emergency line (904)264-6512.
