Happy Friday! We're looking at a pleasant weekend ahead with mild weather and plenty of sun, so don't forget that sunscreen if headed to the pool. High temperatures each day will be in the 70s to lower 80s.

We want to recognize and thank our EMS personnel for their dedication to thorough, accurate, and timely documentation. Your attention to detail helps improve patient care, strengthens our service, and demonstrates the high standards our community depends on every day.

The personnel pictured received an excellent rating on their documentation the first quarter of the year!

On this Memorial Day, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is a time of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance. Today, we pay tribute not only to those who served in the armed forces, but also to first responders and public safety professionals who gave their lives in the line of duty.
As EMS providers, we are humbled to serve our community and carry forward the values of courage, dedication, and service that these heroes embodied.
We remember them. We honor them. We will never forget them.
Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.

As we wrap up EMS Week, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make this week so meaningful.

This year’s theme, “Improving Outcomes, Together,” truly reflects what EMS is all about — teamwork, partnership, and community support. We are incredibly grateful for the kindness, encouragement, and appreciation shown to our crews throughout the week.

A special thank you to Centra One for the excellent training opportunities and continued investment in education, and to Duke Life Flight for the thoughtful goodie basket and support. We also appreciate Charlotte County Administration for stopping by throughout the week, sharing food and fellowship, and showing appreciation for our team.

Thank you to Charlotte County Board of Supervisors for stopping in, enjoying the week with us, bringing food, and donating prizes for our staff. Your support and generosity were truly appreciated.

Thank you as well to Charlotte County Sheriff's Office and our dispatchers for the delicious cookies and brownies, and to all of our fellow first responders for your continued support and partnership every day.

To everyone who visited, donated food, sent encouragement, or simply took a moment to thank an EMS professional — we appreciate you more than words can express. Your support reminds us that we are never alone in serving our community.

Thank you for helping us celebrate EMS Week and for standing beside us as we continue improving outcomes, together. 🚑💙
