Wednesday Update:
– Yearbook Distribution Party in the cafeteria, 2:45-4
– Fine Arts Boosters Awards in the David E. Oaksmith Auditorium, 6
– Big news as well for our students about tomorrow night's fourth-round soccer playoff game! We have had a very generous offer extended to allow our first 20 students into the game for free! Game time against East Duplin is 6:30, with gates opening at 5:45.

We are excited to invite you to our 2nd Annual Academic Recognition Event, Cleared for Take-Off, taking place this Friday, May 22nd. This is a fun and meaningful ceremony designed to celebrate our scholars and highlight our school's commitment to academic excellence.
This year's theme is beach-themed, so we encourage everyone to join in the fun by wearing your best Hawaiian shirt or sundress!
This is a celebration, so parents and students, please feel free to cheer as loud as you'd like when your scholar's name is called!
Schedule for Friday (Early Release Day):
1st Period: 8:30 AM - 9:15 AM
2nd Period: 9:20 AM - 10:00 AM
3rd Period: 10:05 AM - 10:45 AM
4th Period: 10:50 AM - 11:30 AM
Grab & Go Lunch: 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM (Buses will run immediately following lunch dismissal.)
Recognition Ceremony Times:
9th & 10th Grade: 9:00 - 10:00 AM
11th & 12th Grade: 10:30 - 11:30 AM
During the ceremonies, students will be recognized for:
– Departmental Awards
– District Awards
– Honor Roll and Principal's List Distinctions
– Exemplary Attendance
Students will receive Honor Roll recognition if they earned a combination of Honor Roll and Principal's List during Quarters 1-3. Students who earned Principal's List all three quarters will receive that distinction.
Parents of students receiving departmental awards have already been notified. However, all families are welcome to attend and celebrate our students' success.
