What a great first week at First Flight Middle School! Our hallways were once again filled with smiling faces, positive energy, and the excitement of a brand-new school year. We loved welcoming our Seahawks back and watching our students and staff settle into their new routines.
We’re looking forward to an amazing year filled with learning, new friendships, memorable experiences, and many opportunities to Connect, Collaborate, and Grow together. It’s going to be a great year at FFMS! 💙

If you missed 6th grade open house, Mrs. Harris is here to help. Whether you'll be dropped off by car in the front or arriving by bus at the bus entrance, this video will show you exactly how to get to the cafeteria on the first day of school.

It only takes two seconds to write your student’s initials on the bottom of their water bottle! We can usually identify the owner quickly and return it ASAP. Don’t let a lost water bottle make for a rough first day ✅

A huge shoutout to Village Pizza of Nags Head! Scot and his staff are always so good to us here at FFMS. Our staff looks forward to pizza day because Village Pizza always brings the best pizza and salad! 🍕🍕

We were able to catch up with Katherine over the summer with her new surfboard. Katherine was the big winner at our pancake dinner last year. Thank you to MacDaddy Surfboards for custom-designing her board!

This is the Fifth annual “Back to school” camp! Bring school supplies of any type on the day of the camp and it’s free! Coaches from FFMS and MMS will be in attendance! Come out have some fun playing basketball and help out the less fortunate in our district! Boys and girls from Dare county schools can attend! Rising 6th graders to 9th graders!
