Ethel decided that moving near the dog door was good enough. At least she was on the stacked dog beds. She was still there this morning, though she pointed the other way. I tried to get her to come in, but she went out to the yard instead. Trevor, on the other hand, has only gone out to p*e.

Almost missed Big Ethel's follow-up vet visit with so much adventure going on. I missed the first notifications and only caught the time to leave one. I rushed to empty the van, get dressed for leaving the house, and luckily, Ethel came in just as I was about to go looking for her. I was still almost 15 mins late and still so pi**ed I was virtually vibrating. Other than avoiding getting weighed, she did pretty well. And her eye appears to be healing up well. Still have no clue what she did to it.

A big delivery came and I went out to show the driver where to leave it. Ethel went out, barked a couple of times, but after I said it was okay, she went back inside to the air conditioning.

Trevor stayed in a guarded my chair.

It's been so muggy out; Ethel has been sleeping the days away inside unless it rains. I certainly don't want to go outside while the sun is up either, and I don't have all that fur.

Still working on those back legs. About half done. Usually it is her tummy that gets the worst, but not this time.
