We held our annual III Armored Corps Career Counselor, Retention Excellence Award in Leadership, and Retention NCO of the Year week long competitions in tandem for the Regular Army and for the Reserve Component….

SSG Benjamin Miller (1st Armored Division) 👏, Career Counselor, Regular Army🏅🏆!

MSG Jevon Joyner (1st Cavalry Division) 👏, Retention Excellence Award in Leadership, Regular Army🏅🏆!

MSG William King (1st Armored Division) 👏, Retention Excellence Award in Leadership, Reserve Component🏅🏆!

SGT Tommy Tran (1st Armored Division) 👏, Retention NCO, Regular Army🏅🏆!

A truly tremendous and incredible accomplishment for all of these deserving NCOs!

These five professionals will represent III Armored Corps during the FY 2026 United States Army Europe and Africa Career Counselor, Retention Excellence Award in Leadership, and Retention of the Year competitions for the Regular Army and Reserve Component competitions.

All competitors were extremely knowledgeable, showcased their expertise, and well represented their commands.

These competitions were hosted by SGM Jedediah Wells, III Armored Corps Senior Command Career Counselor and by SGM Joseph Compton, III Armored Corps Senior Command RC Career Counselor.

The week ended with an incredible awards ceremony hosted by LTG Kevin Admiral, the Commanding General of III Armored Corps and Fort Hood and CSM John McDwyer, the Command Sergeant Major of III Armored Corps and Fort Hood, where these five winners were presented with impact awards 🎖️, trophies 🏆, and challenge coins!

Please join us in congratulating 👏 these outstanding NCOs!

We know you all will represent III Armored Corps well at the upcoming USAREUR-AF competitions!

Additionally, even more WINNING continued to take place at the annual awards ceremony as LTG Admiral and CSM McDwyer also presented the Fiscal Year 2025 end of year Regular Army Retention and Reserve Component Retention unit awards!

It’s graduation day here at “The Great Place”!

The United States Army Recruiting and Retention College’s Retention Department instructed Department of the Army Retention Training to Retention NCOs to ensure they become certified and have the knowledge to retain America’s sons and daughters!

Huge congratulations 👏 to all these Retention NCOs! These NCOs are the newest fully qualified Retention NCOs in the regular Army!

The professionals of the United States Army Recruiting and Retention College’s Retention Department are here at “The Great Place” this week instructing Department of the Army Retention Training (D.A.R.T.) to Retention NCOs to ensure they become certified.
