Private First Class Christian Lemuel Rivera Colon
November 22, 1990 - March 8, 2025
PFC Christian Lemuel Rivera Colon, age 34, of Fort Cavazos, TX, passed away on March 8, 2025.
Christian was currently serving at Fort Cavazos in Bravo Battery, 2-82 FA, 3ABCT, 1CD. He had a deep passion for serving his country and was a Soldier whom any leader would long to have in their ranks. He was tenacious in everything he did, ensuring the job was not done until it was done to its fullest.
He was a beacon of happiness and warmth to all who knew him. His life was rich with love and memorable experiences centered around his family. He will be missed by all of his Stampede family, and his Bull legacy will live long through the lives he touched in Bull Battery and the Steel Dragon Battalion.
He is survived by his loving wife, SPC Keisha L. Rivera Ortiz, of Charlie Battery, 3-16 FA, 2ABCT, 1CD, and his three children, Elier, Koral, and Eriel Rivera, who will forever carry his loving spirit with them. He is also survived by his parents, Julio Rivera and Jackeline Colon.
Christian Lemuel Rivera Colon was a man of strong faith, and his legacy will endure through the love of his family, the joy he shared with friends, and the happy memories made throughout his life. His proud Puerto Rican heritage and vibrant spirit will be cherished forever.
A visitation will be held in Christian's memory on March 23, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton, Texas. This will be followed by a funeral service on March 24, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM, also at Crotty Funeral Home. A graveside service will take place at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas, at 11:00 AM the same day.
