Today, VFW Post 9191 proudly completed our Backpack Drive, and our hearts are full. Because of the generosity of our community and the dedication of our volunteers, countless students will begin the school year with the supplies they need and the confidence to succeed.

This effort was about more than backpacks—it was about investing in our children, strengthening our community, and showing that when we come together, we can make a lasting difference.

A heartfelt thank you to the VFW Auxiliary and the Belton Blaze Girls Basketball Team for your incredible support, hard work, and servant leadership. Your willingness to give your time and energy is a true reflection of what community service is all about.

To everyone who donated, volunteered, and encouraged this mission—thank you. Together, we proved that no act of kindness is too small and that united in service, we can change lives.

VFW Post 9191 & Auxiliary is looking for dedicated volunteers to help make our Backpack Drive a success! By giving just a little of your time, you can help ensure local students begin the school year prepared with the supplies they need to succeed.

Volunteer opportunities include:

* Assisting with distribution
* Greeting and assisting community members
* Assisting with the popcorn and cotton candy machine.
