Temporary Closure Notice

The Butterfly Project will be temporarily closed as we take time to reorganize, reset, and prepare for upcoming services and projects within the community.

During this time, response times for calls, texts, emails, and messages may be delayed. If you have already submitted documentation or applications, please allow additional processing time once operations resume.

We appreciate everyone’s continued support, patience, donations, and encouragement as we continue building and strengthening our programs for families and individuals in Bell County.

We will announce our reopening date and any updates on services soon.

Thank you for continuing to support The Butterfly Project and our mission to serve the community through outreach, housing support, transportation assistance, documentation recovery, hygiene assistance, and the future opening of Monarch House.

✨ The Garrett Family Update ✨

We’re so happy to share that the Garrett family has officially been moved into their new home! 🏡💜

This is a huge step forward, and we’re proud to have been part of their journey toward stability.

Right now, they’re starting from scratch and are in need of essential household items to help turn their house into a home. Items needed include:

* Twin beds & bedding
* Queen bed
* Towels
* Dishes
* Pots & pans
* Basic home essentials

If you’re able to donate or support in any way, please reach out. Every little thing makes a difference and helps this family continue building a fresh start.

Let’s show up for them the way this community always does. 💪🏽💜

As we step into the month of May, let’s look back proudly at April’s impact stats…

• 47 lunch bags distributed
• 12 hygiene bags provided
• 22 families & individuals served
• 5 individuals successfully moved into permanent housing

We also received:
• 19 clothing donations
• 8 supply donations

Thank you to everyone who showed up, gave, and supported us‼️ We can’t do it without you💙

Reminders: May is known as Mental Health Awareness Month🧠

This month we will be hosting small groups for both men and women weekly. Our first date and time is TBD. We are seeking volunteers who want to lead some of the groups👀

These groups are a safe space where people can come to be heard, welcomed, supported and appreciated. Sometimes a listening ear is all it takes🥰

🚨Important Updates🚨

• Our May 16th event has been canceled and will be rescheduled for a later date. It has been canceled since late March.
• We had to postpone the opening of our new office that was set to open 4/1 due to an unfortunate scam situation but we are pushing forward and not letting it stop us.
• We are actively searching for a new location.

Setbacks are only redirection‼️Our mission is still the same and we aren’t going anywhere🦋💙

At The Butterfly Project, the health and safety of our clients is always our top priority. Due to the nature of our work, there may be times when unforeseen emergencies arise involving individuals we serve. These situations can include urgent physical or mental health concerns that require immediate attention, including transportation to clinics or hospitals and assistance with admissions.

In the event that an emergency occurs during your scheduled appointment time, we may need to reschedule your appointment to ensure that critical needs are addressed promptly and appropriately.

We understand that your time is valuable and truly appreciate your patience, flexibility, and understanding as we work to support all clients with the care and urgency they deserve.

We are happy to be back in the office this week and look forward to serving our community again.

Thank you to everyone for your patience during our temporary closure. We are now back to normal operations and ready to continue assisting individuals and families with services and support.

Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

As we continue building, we are looking for individuals who are serious about making an impact and helping create structure, accountability, and sustainability within our organization.

Temporary Closure Notice

The Butterfly Project will be closed the week of April 13th – April 18th for training.

We will reopen on Monday, April 20th and resume normal business hours at that time.

During this closure, responses to calls, messages, and applications may be delayed. All inquiries will be addressed in the order they were received once we reopen.

Good morning beautiful people💙
Sometimes God removes people, places, and things for a reason even when it doesn’t make sense.

Not everything is meant to stay, and not everything is in our control. Timing won’t always align with what we want.

Take a pause. Breathe. Reevaluate what’s in front of you. There’s healing in letting go and allowing Him to take control because that’s when things start falling into place.

If you’re struggling, if you need a hug, a friend, or just a space to cry or scream, know this:

You are not alone.
We see you.
We hear you.
We’re with you.
