A True 3 A.M. Horror Story

Imagine this. It is 3:00 a.m. You are fast asleep when a mysterious sound wakes you from your peaceful slumber. You sit up, heart racing. You hear it again…

Chirp.
A single, haunting chirp.

No ghost. No monster. Just your smoke detector letting you know the battery is dying at the worst possible time. The horror.

Do yourself a favor and check those smoke detectors before they choose the scariest hour of the night to speak up. Replace batteries at least once a year and test monthly. Working smoke alarms save lives, even if they like to be a little dramatic.

Stay safe, stay spooky, and may all your Halloween scares be fun ones.

Cold weather is back — and that means your wall heaters are waking up from their long nap! 💤
Before they surprise you, make sure nothing that can burn is within 3 feet — that includes clothes, curtains, or your “I’ll fold it later” laundry pile. 👕

When you turn the heat on for the first time, you might smell something burning — don’t panic! It’s usually just dust burning off the elements, not your dinner. 🍳

Keep it clear, stay warm, and let’s make sure the only thing heating up this fall is your coffee mug! ☕🔥
