VENDORS!!!! If you are signed up for this year's festival, please take a moment and send me what you would like to say under your listing. We are launching a Festival website and want to make sure folks know you're coming!!!! If you have PR we can add, please send it to [email protected] and we'll plug it into the new website. Once the site goes live in a week or so, please check and make sure you are listed as a vendor as we don't want to leave anyone out!

Don't forget we have a meeting this Saturday here at the Sherburne Library in Killington at 10am. If you have ideas you'd like to see at this year's Festival, come and share! We are always looking for new ideas. You'll get a special sneak peek at what we're planning for September. Lynn Spencer, our amazing Enchanted Forest designer will be here and you'll find out what has been going on at the Bureau of Fairy Tale Affairs. If you love the Festival and want to see it continue to grow, we hope you'll come! We received this document this morning from the Bureau of FTA's concerning Rumplestiltskin. They are warning us early that he has escaped the Fairy Tale Realm and may show up at the Vermont Fairy Tale Festival. If he isn't caught this summer, we'll need to look for him in September. They have given us some information and we'll get more ahead of the Festival. We may need some help from visiting families to see if they can track him. Watch this space for more details!

The Festival is looking for volunteers! Both to help set up the Enchanted Forest and to help with some new super-secret activities we're adding to the Festival this year. Well, they're only super-secret now. All will be revealed as we get closer to September. Anyone seriously interested in helping plan and execute some of the great ideas are encouraged to stop by the library on Saturday, May 16th at 10 am. We'll have a quick meeting and fill you in on ways to help, provide a snack or two, and get you on your way to whatever your Saturday holds. Shouldn't take more than about an hour or so. Send an email to sherburnememorial@gmail to let us know you're coming and we'll plan on seeing you on the 16th.

Big news just in!!!! Whispers have it that The Crooked Cottage Apothecary has uprooted itself from deep in the woods and will appear, just for a fleeting while, at this year’s Fairytale Festival in Vermont. This radiant spell shop will be tended by three witches who welcome all who find their way to the shop. Within the Cottage, bright enchantments shimmer and every visitor becomes part of a playful, storybook adventure. The magic is light, lively, and not meant to linger—once the moment passes, the Cottage will vanish once more.
