Good afternoon, H Nation!

We know there is water on some roads throughout the county following the recent weather. At this time, Hancock County School District still plans to have school on Tuesday, May 26, at normal scheduled times.

However, if buses are unable to safely travel down your road or families are unable to safely leave their homes, student absences will be excused.

We are continuing to monitor conditions closely and will share any updates through ParentSquare and social media if needed. Please stay safe!

Congratulations to our Health Science II student, Raleigh Seal, for being chosen as the recipient of the 2025-2026 Mississippi Health Science Technology Education (HSTE) Scholarship! Raleigh was awarded a $500 scholarship for demonstrating outstanding leadership in HOSA and academic excellence in Health Science I & II. She will be recognized at the ACTE Conference in July. 🎉 Our Culinary II students, along with their families, were treated to a delicious steak dinner banquet in celebration of completing the two-year program! The evening was made special by our Culinary I students, who did an amazing job decorating, preparing the meal, and serving everyone at the beautiful banquet. We are so proud of all of our culinary students and the hard work they have put into making this event such a success! 👏🍽️❤️💙

🎉 Welding II students wanted to celebrate completing the two-year welding program and achieving a 100% pass rate on their National Certification Test, so they decided to cook breakfast for themselves. It was a great time filled with good food and celebration. Congratulations to these students on becoming Nationally Certified welders! 👏.
