The Mississippi Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. (MACD), established in 1945, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization composed of the 82 Soil & Water Conservation Districts in Mississippi. MACD is governed by a thirty-one member Board of Directors and represents more than four hundred district commissioners throughout Mississippi. In it

s effort to solve the program, which was primarily soil erosion, the Mississippi legislature enacted the Soil Conservation Law (currently the Soil and Water Conservation Law), in which the State Soil Conservation Committee (currently the Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation Commission) was created. Provisions were made so that each county could organize a soil and water conservation district. A Soil & Water Conservation District's governing board is comprised of voluntary citizens who come together and represent land owners and users in their district and ensure a local voice in conservation.

Now is a great time to become familiar with Ubuntu. It's FOSS (Free Open Source Software). I have been using Ubuntu exclusively since 2011 and since then I have witnessed a steady progression towards becoming the everyday replacement OS for PCs. For the past couple months I have been using this latest release 24.04LTS (LTS = Long Term Support - 12 years by Ubuntu). I am convinced that if you are tired of Window's constant bugs and need for anti-virus software then you should definitely check out this latest release. I have been putting it the test and it simply works like you would expect your computer to. I can't say I would have made this bold proclamation on earlier releases but this one makes clear Ubuntu has arrived. It will make an older machine seem like a new one and a new one seem like it's been turbocharged. I'm impressed. Should you have any specific questions I'll do my best to help find you an answer. This is an effective way to regain complete control over your computer and Bill Gates will no longer have his greedy fingers in your personal computer's business.
