New Rates & Cut-off Procedures Effective June 1, 2026

There will no longer be an 8:00 a.m. $30.00 fee to avoid meter being locked. For meters locked, then unlocked during normal maintenance department hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m - the fee will be $75.00. If a customer wants to have a meter unlocked after 3:00 p.m., there will be an additional $100.00 - for a total of $175.00 as we must pay our technicians overtime after 3:00 p.m. (Board approved 4/14/26)

A new meter set fee of $400.00 will also go into effect on June 1, 2026. This fee pertains to setting a meter in an existing meter box with a existing tap, whereby the meter has been previously pulled or never placed. This is not the same as a new 3/4" installation, which still remains at $750.00 but will increase in the near future.

In addition to the above rate changes, the fee for subcontracted road bores is now $1,300.00 plus supplies billed after installation.
We require 50% down on road bores and the balance to be paid monthly in increments of $100.00. Failure to pay the monthly amount will result in the meter being locked and a $75.00 unlock fee will apply. A $10.00 late charge will also be assessed monthly if the payment is not received on time. Our office will close at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 13, 2026. Please use the outside drop for payments during the closure time. Notice of Rate Increase:
Effective March 1, 2026 the following rate increases will become effective.
Residential Rate: $26.00 for 0 - 2,000 gals
Small Commercial Rate: $30.00 for 0 - 2,000 gals
Large Commercial Rate: $40.00 for 0 - 2,000 gals
All account types: $6.00 per every 1,000 gals over 2,000 gals.

We have not had a rate increase in three (3) years and are required to raise rates at least once very three (3) years by the Public Water Supply Division of the MS State Department of Health.

These rates will apply to bills that will be mailed out for the Leetown billing cycle on March13, 2026 and the Standard billing cycle on March 31, 2026.

CLOSING NOTICE: We will be closed on Monday, January 19, 2026 for a State & Federal holiday. If you have a water emergency, a technician will be on call. This little dump truck was found by one of our customers at the Dedeaux Ball Field on Road 350. Some little boy is surely missing it. We have it at the Standard Dedeaux Water office..
