The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office has been made aware of a scam involving jury duty.

Please be aware:

• The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER call and inform you about jury duty or demand payment related to jury duty.

• The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER require a wire transfer of any kind, including money, cryptocurrency, or Bitcoin, in connection with jury duty.

• The Kimball County Sheriff’s Office will NEVER keep you on the phone in lieu of arrest in order to collect money over the phone.

If you receive a suspicious call or have any questions or concerns, please contact the Kimball County Sheriff’s Office directly at 308-235-3615

Do not provide personal information or send money to anyone claiming to be a law enforcement officer or a Dispatcher regarding jury duty.
