Su***de prevention is everyone’s responsibility. This month is an opportunity to raise awareness, reduce stigma, encourage conversations about mental health, and remind those who may be struggling that help is available and hope is possible.

You don’t have to be a mental health professional to make a difference. Check in on the people around you. Listen without judgment. Take concerns about su***de seriously. Learn the warning signs. And most importantly, know where to turn for help.

To our first responders: You spend your careers showing up for others on some of their hardest days. If you are struggling, you deserve that same support. Asking for help is not a weakness, and you do not have to carry the weight of the job alone. Check on your partners, your coworkers, and yourself. 🚓🚒🚑

Join the Kimberling City Police Department and our community partners for the 5th Annual National Night Out!

Last year, more than 1,000 people joined us—and we are ready to make this year even bigger! 💙🚓🚒🚑

National Night Out is an opportunity to bring our community together and strengthen the partnerships between citizens, law enforcement, and Stone County First Responders.

Thank you, Zach and Chandler, for taking the time to meet with me this morning and for expressing your genuine concern. I truly appreciate the conversation, and your apology was sincere and accepted.

We also greatly appreciate you hosting our Coffee gathering last week. It is always encouraging to see the room filled with such strong community support. That continued support and willingness to come together is what makes our community special and will prevale past the incident last week!
