The Sault Tribe Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids on behalf of the Sault Tribe Housing Authority for the new Apartment Building
Project # 26-020.

DESCRIPTION: Project consists of a new twenty (20) unit, two (2) story housing complex located in the Odenaang Community in Sault Ste. Marie. The unit mix includes (2) two bedroom/ 1 bath units and (18) 1 bedroom/ 1 bath units. All units will have individual entrances. The new building will be wood framed construction on concrete foundations, and slab on grade main floor. Sitework will include parking, landscaping, grading and stormwater control, utilities access (natural gas, municipal water, and sewer), sidewalks, and exterior patios or balconies.

Sault Tribe Home Improvement Program

The Sault Tribe Purchasing Department will be accepting SEALED PROPOSALS on behalf of the Sault Tribe Home Improvement Program (STHIP) for Home Replacement to one (1) home off reservation.

STHIP, the General Contractor, requests written lumpsum, fixed price bid to supply material, labor, insurance, and supervision to complete a specific scope of work per address.

📢 We’re excited to announce that our new satellite office in Sault Ste. Marie will officially open on June 1st!

This new location will help us better serve community members by increasing accessibility and expanding our presence in the Sault Ste. Marie area.

Members will be able to pick up applications for all service programs at this location. Please note: Rent collection will only take place on designated days. Payments will not be accepted outside of scheduled collection days.

Rent hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. inside the Sault Tribe Housing Authority Sault Ste. Marie office. Staff will be inside the public entrance located up the ramp.

Sault Tribe Housing Authority Mini Site Clean-Up Events

We are excited to host upcoming Mini Site Clean-Up events for Sault Tribe Housing Authority residents. These events are an opportunity for residents to come together, help keep our communities clean, and enjoy a fun afternoon with neighbors and staff.

Residents can participate in community clean-up activities, connect with the Sault Tribe Environmental Department, and enjoy additional environmental education and activities. Food and drinks will be provided, and prizes will be available for participation.
