In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring Paul!

Paul is a paramedic here at NEMSA and has been working in EMS for 6 years! Paul is one of or few American Heart Association instructors and enjoys teaching and assisting in EMS classrooms around the area! In his free-time Paul enjoys biking, skiing, running, swimming and spending time with his family and friends. Paul recently traveled to the west coast and participated in a canoe race that was 70 miles long in under 48 hours! How cool is that?! Thank you Paul for all your hard work!🛶

In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring John!

John is an EMT here at NEMSA as well as our maintenance officer! He has been in EMS for 14 years and enjoys camping, hunting, and volunteering for his local fire department as the Chief. John started his career in fire and EMS in 2009 as a volunteer for his community which eventually led to it being his full time career. Before he started his path as a first responder John met his lovely wife who he’s been married to for 28 years and they have two daughters! Thank you John for all your hard work!🎉

We will be hosting a training event Saturday, August 22nd with Chippewa County Central Dispatch and Emergency Management and Whitefish EMS! This class will help first responders and their family members navigate and understand mental health, relationship, and social challenges that first responders encounter on and off the job. Hunter has been an EMT here at NEMSA for a year and will be continuing his education this coming year at LSSU as a fire science student! Sam is a critical care paramedic here at NEMSA and has been in EMS for 13 years! Not only is Sam a very well respected paramedic at our agency but he also practices as a registered nurse in his days off from here! In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring Josh!

Josh is an EMT here at NEMSA and has been in EMS for 11 years! He is currently going through our AEMT class and is very excited about advancing his career! In his free time, Josh takes veterans and children on guided hunting and fishing trips across Michigan. You may have seen him in a recent article in the local news! He also likes to hike, cook, and sing to his pal, Halligan the Dalmatian! In fact, Josh likes singing so much that he even auditioned for the voice and made it past the first few rounds! ✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨

In this week’s employee spotlight we are featuring Jameson!

Jameson is an AEMT here at NEMSA and has been in EMS for 5 years! He started his career in EMS in an EMT class in high school at just 16 years old. In his free time, Jameson enjoys going on trips with his wife, taking his dog, Remi, to the beach, golfing, and hanging out with his friends. When he’s not working he spends much of his time also serving in our national guard as a Combat Medic Specialist (68W). Thank you for all your hard work!
