Get ready, readers: the annual Battle of the Books competition is fast approaching, and this year we have a whole new program! Students entering Grades 6-12 in September 2026 are invited to join one Kinderhook Library Team for a summer of reading, trivia, snacks, and a variety of book-related activities to prepare for the Mid-Hudson competition in September. As one teen put it, Battle of the Books is “competitive book reading.” Intrigued? Stop by the first meeting on May 15 to learn more!
