Shawn suffered a serious head injury at work on September 6th, resulting in a skull fracture and a long hospital stay. While his recovery has been challenging, the family is deeply grateful for his progress and is now focused on his health and healing, with both Shawn and Jackie currently unable to work.

Kindred Days annual 5K event is up for registration.

Kindred Days is a time to come together and celebrate our wonderful community!  Activities for all ages including 5k, parade, vendors, petting zoo, beer tasting,  music, and so much more.... ALL FOR FREE thanks to our amazing sponsors.

The Kindred Parks team is happy to present the 2022 Holiday Lights Event! Our goal is to encourage residents and business owners to light up the sky.

For this contest, residents and/or businesses will register their address to be entered into the contest. We will create a map to that highlights where community members can tour homes and businesses taking in the sights. Registration ends December 16th at noon. Residents will then vote for their favorites online. Voting will begin on December 16th and is unlimited. Voting will end on December 31st with the winners being announced on January 1st!

2023 Kindred Fire Department Fundraiser Calendars are now available! Calendars are $15 each. They include photos of your very own hometown firefighters for the next 12 months, as well as several additional photos of our great team.
Thank you very much to KFD Women's Auxiliary for making this happen, Emma Vatnsdal for taking all of these amazing photos, and Knight Printing for working with us and getting this printed and ready for us!
