As thousands of car enthusiasts and some of the world's most incredible vehicles make their way to the Central Coast, the California Highway Patrol Coastal Division will be increasing patrols and enforcement efforts to help keep our roadways safe.
On Wednesday, August 12, CHP Coastal Division will conduct a Division-wide Special Enforcement Unit (SEU) focused on unsafe speed and other dangerous driving behaviors. CHP Air Operations will also support enforcement efforts throughout the region.
Whether you're behind the wheel of a high-performance exotic or your everyday vehicle, remember: speed limits apply to everyone. Help us make Monterey Car Week safe and enjoyable for all by driving responsibly, avoiding distractions, and sharing the road.
