What a great day at our Teachers vs. Students Kickball Game! 🥎🎉

There may not have been an official winner, but everyone walked away with smiles, laughs, and great memories. Thank you to all the students, teachers, and supporters who came out and made today so much fun!

Our PES heart heroes did an amazing job this year raising $15,790 for kids with special hearts and medical research. 67 students and staff completed Finn's Mission and learned hands only CPR with their families. We are so proud of our Hawks!

What an inspiring day for our second graders!

We were thrilled to welcome a KGHS Class of 2023 graduate Amir Muhammad, who spent time reading with our students and sharing his incredible talents and experiences.

Amir is truly an outstanding role model. He earned his black belt at an early age, became a highly successful Level 10 gymnast with Olympic-level aspirations, and is now a published author and illustrator!

His book, Julian the Gymnast, tells the story of a young gymnast overcoming fear on the high bar through determination, courage, and mental strength.

Our students were captivated by Amir’s story, his positivity, and his message about perseverance and believing in yourself. Thank you, Amir, for inspiring the next generation and showing our students what hard work and dedication can achieve!

What an amazing fun-filled Field Day! From exciting games and friendly competition to nonstop laughs and team spirit, today was packed with unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who participated, cheered each other on, and helped make Field Day such a huge success.

We had the pleasure of attending KG County Council PTA's Evening of Outstanding Heroes at Creekside Farm Brewery last night. Congratulations to all the Outstanding Educator and Volunteer of the Year winners, including our own, Mr. Pacelli and Mr. Thompson! We appreciate everything you do for our students and school community!

We’re looking for Peer Models to join our Preschool Program!

King George County Schools has a limited number of openings for 3 and 4 year old Peer Models in the Potomac Elementary and King George Elementary zones.

Peer Models are children who:
✨ Demonstrate positive behaviors that support a great learning environment
✨ Have age-appropriate speech, language, cognitive, and social skills
✨ Are fully potty trained

These students play an important role in helping create a supportive and inclusive classroom for all learners.
