Mrs. Buskohl’s class at KGHS is running a school bakery for the staff! From measuring and mixing to baking, packaging, and delivering, the students are involved in every step of the process.

This hands-on experience gives our students the opportunity to practice valuable real-world employment skills.

We are incredibly proud of our students and all the hard work they put into making the bakery a success!

A big thank you to our partners at Rappahannock Goodwill for visiting King George High School and hosting an engaging session for students in our Economics and Personal Finance classes on dressing for employment and job interviews!

We appreciate our community partners who help bring meaningful, hands-on learning experiences into the classroom and help prepare our students for success after high school and beyond!

The 6th Grade Back-to-School Bash was a huge success! A heartfelt thank you to the King George Middle School staff and PTA for putting together such a special event for our 6th graders.

Calendar Reminder, KGCS Families!

A reminder that King George County Schools will be closed Friday, September 4, and Monday, September 7, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Schools and offices will reopen Tuesday, September 8.

We hope our students, families, and staff enjoy a safe and relaxing holiday weekend!

The Foxes Den Café is up and running, and our students are serving up more than just great drinks—they’re gaining valuable real-world experience along the way!

Students prepare specialty coffees and refreshing beverages for school staff, while also taking on important responsibilities like preparing orders, delivering drinks, collecting payments, and providing excellent customer service.

And the best part? They’re delivering a superior product with plenty of Fox pride!

Today, the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committees met at King George High School and King George Middle School!

These committees provide a valuable opportunity for students to share their thoughts, ideas, and feedback directly with Dr. Boyd. Their voices help shape our schools and strengthen our school community.

We are proud of these students and the leadership they are already demonstrating. They are not only our students—they are our future leaders!

🎨 The KGHS Art Club is back at it!

Our talented students are creating, experimenting, and bringing their ideas to life! They’re working on projects in the library and math hall while also testing out new materials and techniques.

The Fabulous Fox recognizes an outstanding staff member at King George High School who goes above and beyond to support the school community.

Ms. Mitchell serves as the School Counseling Director and works tirelessly to support students and staff while helping students prepare for graduation and success beyond high school. Her dedication, guidance, and commitment make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students every day.

Due to the current tornado watch in our area, all after-school activities will end at 4:30 p.m. today.

The King George High School football team is currently away for a scrimmage and will return as conditions allow. We will continue to monitor weather conditions and prioritize the safety of our students and staff.
