KG Love Thy Neighbor We are neighbors helping neighbors, with a spirit of love, respect, & community. We give away food. We are here to help, not to judge. We sometimes have pet food.

Love Thy Neighbor is a 'shopper's choice' food pantry, supplementing your groceries with free food, intended for those in need. If you're eating a lot of Ramen noodles because you can't afford healthier foods, this is for you. We emphasize love, respect, and community. We usually have cereal, canned goods, bread, produce, eggs, and frozen meat. We sometimes have health & beauty products. We always

have love! We're open Saturday mornings, Sunday afternoons, and Thursday evenings for grocery shopping at our free food pantry. See our hours for details, or find us on Google ("Love Thy Neighbor King George"). We serve approximately 50-120 families at our events. Our main focus is on food and hygiene items. We help customers to save their money for housing and other expenses. Most of our guests are seniors, veterans, disabled, unemployed, under-employed, or working paycheck-to-paycheck. As part of the King George Community Alliance, we are sometimes able to guide our neighbors toward additional resources for particular services they may need. We are a 100% volunteer organization. We rely on our amazing volunteers to make it all happen. We could not carry out this mission without the generous help of those who donate to us. 🥧 YOUR ☀️🥧 LAST PIES OF SUMMER FESTIVAL 🥧☀️ ™ MAP IS HERE! 🗺️

Wondering what to expect when you arrive on Saturday, August 29? Here’s your first look at the festival setup!

☀️ AND YES — MOST OF THE FESTIVAL IS INDOORS!

Beat the August heat while you explore an indoor vendor marketplace, activities, community resources, Dungeons & Dragons, games, face painting, workshops, sound meditation, a quiet space, pies, raffles, and more!

Then, weather permitting, head outside for food trucks and additional activities like co****le and pie throwing.

We're creating a PIES Festival Passport where attendees can visit 10 participating vendor/activity areas to earn a FREE raffle ticket — a $5 value!

🍕🥧 Come hungry, too! We'll have food vendors throughout the day plus pie by the slice for $5.

We still have a few vendor spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis for businesses and nonprofits that would like to join us!

We want to offer a big THANK YOU to the generous folks who donated at our Cram The Van drive today at the route 3 Food Lion. These 5 carts contain 407 pounds of food and hygiene products, donated to help our neighbors. Thanks also to those who gave cash!!

Day two of awesomeness at Love Thy Neighbor out in the community we love! ❤️

We had such a blast balancing our food distribution at the pantry with the incredible "Impactful Beginnings King George" event at the library.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Tameeka Heywood-Jackson for organizing such a wonderful event year after year—we are so honored to be part of it every single year! Together, we really are making a difference. 🙌
