While closing up the Candy Cane Lane Shoppe tonight,
Beneath the soft atrium light,
We saw a sight that made us grin—
A life-sized elf had wandered in!
He sat there with a storybook,
All settled in his cozy nook.
We don’t know much about him yet,
But fun is something we will get!
He chose a spot where he can see
The kiddos passing happily.
Straight from the North Pole he appears,
Bringing magic, joy, and cheer.
But one small rule we must make clear:
Touching him will make his magic disappear!
His sparkle travels far to stay,
And touching him makes it fade away.
So keep an eye out day by day…
What will he do? What games will he play?
Our mystery elf has just begun—
His visit’s sure to bring some fun!
And soon we’ll need your help, it’s true—
A very silly task to do…
We’ll let the kiddos join the game
To help us choose this elf’s new name!
