I believe the BOS Public Hearing yesterday went well, and the County will continue to hear what you have to say regarding staffing, budget and taxes until the May 11th vote. As you know Social Services is one of the departments requesting positions to help protect and aid families in King William.

Come on by the Regional Animal Shelter - King William, Virginia on May 2nd!!

If you’ve been saying “I should come by the shelter sometime”…this is your sign to stop saying it and actually do it.

May 2nd = your official excuse. 🐾

We’re throwing the doors open for our Open House and inviting you to come see what shelter life really looks like (spoiler: it’s a mix of chaos, cuddles, and at least one dog making questionable life choices).

Come wander through, meet the animals, talk with staff, and maybe, just maybe, lock eyes with your future best friend.

We’ll have:
✨ Plenty of adoptable pets ready to steal your heart
✨ Time to hang out and get to know them outside of a quick kennel hello
✨ A chance to connect with the people behind the scenes
✨Games, food, family fun, and so much more
