General information
Poverty is a major problem in Bangladesh. One third of the population is living below the poverty line and their sufferings are beyond words. Malnutrition, famine have become their constant companion. Both in urban and rural areas, a large number of people are living in a great misery, struggling each day to provide themselves with their basic needs. Illiteracy, child labor, early marriage, malnutrition, child mortality have resulted from poverty. The Poverty Fighter Foundation has come forward with a group of young and dedicated fellows and volunteers, in order to change the scenario and improve the condition of the impoverished population and free them from the vicious circle of poverty. Hopefully one day we can make it happen. Impossible is nothing!

Illiteracy is one of the most acute problems in Bangladesh. The worst part is that a majority of our child population remains illiterate as a great many parents in our country can not afford to send their kids to school due to poverty. These children have every right to be properly educated. Poverty Fighter Foundation has taken an initiative to educate the slum children and street urchins who are deprived of education, a basic right. We believe that education can provide a better future to these less-fortunate children and able them to attain a proper and healthy living, which they deserve.
Our Free Schooling Project is now providing free of cost education to a total 80 underprivileged children under 2 schools located at Uttara, Dhaka and Khulna city. We follow the national curriculum in English version of education approved by the National Curriculum and Text Book Board. We also provide these children with learning equipment such as- books, pencils, eraser etc. along with hygiene products like shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrush and so on. Every week, we provide them with nutritious food, as most of them suffer from malnutrition.
How you can contribute
Your contribution will bring immense change to the lives of these kids and pave their way to education. You can sponsor a child and bear all the expenses of his/her education with BDT 2400 per month or = to $30monthly or you can provide necessary schooling equipment's for any number of children you like.
