I want to thank everyone who has stood beside me during my time campaigning. I am forever grateful to those who have supported me throughout this journey and experience. Congrats to my opponent and I wish him the best in the future.

I would like to first start by saying it has been a pleasure meeting so many great Kingfisher residents -- our teachers, ranchers, service workers, and many more -- while campaigning to be our county's sheriff. I have been committed to our community for over a decade, served with integrity, and wish to continue this success as your sheriff.

I have the most experience and level of certification in this race and would be best fit to step in on day one to serve you, the people. I thank you for your vote and support!

I attended the Okarche town meeting this evening to watch and welcome Chief Michael Smith to the Okarche Police Department. Chief Smith is retired from the Oklahoma City Police Department. I was glad to see the town board hire someone with a background from the Kingfisher County area. I look forward to continuing to work with the Okarche Police Department and its community.

At church this morning our message was about being a servant and not being served. This message hit on many points not only for me personally, but also for work.
Once I got into law enforcement, I realized that I was a servant to the community on many different levels and continued to become the best servant I could over the years. So no matter how much or how many times me or my family has been attacked during this campaign or even after the election, I will continue to prevail over these trials and tribulations, because I will always be a servant to those who need it. This is how God our father has requested us to be!

I am thankful for everyone who I have talked with all around the county. We truly live in one of the best counties in the state and this wouldn’t be possible without all of the caring communities. Voting is a right that everyone should exercise as much as possible. I have heard so many times, “my vote doesn’t count!” or “they got enough votes last time, so they do not need one more!” In local government elections, this is where you as the citizen get to make your voice heard and could be the reason an election went one way or another. Thank you for your vote and the continued support!!

Tomorrow starts in-person early voting. The location has been moved to the First United Methodist Church, located at 1800 S. 13th St. in Kingfisher, OK. Once you have parked, you will enter through the southwest doors of the church, just past the playground equipment.

Here are the dates and times:

Thursday, August 22nd 8am-6pm
Friday, August 23rd 8am-6pm
Saturday, August 24th 8am-2pm

Nobody will ever deprive the
American people of the right to vote except the American people themselves and the only way they could do this is by not voting. - Franklin D. Roosevelt
