Kingman Academy of Learning Primary School Kingman Academy of Learning Primary School located in Kingman, Arizona. Grades PreK - 2 Kingman Academy of Learning was started in 1995 by Mrs. Brownell Hamlyn.

Betty Rowe and Mrs. It was one of the first 12 charter schools in the State of Arizona. KAOL began as a very small school located in old buildings belonging to the local high school district, and has grown into a four campus organization that educates over 1500 students each year in grades preschool through 12th grade. KAOL began with 12 teachers in grades preschool through 6th grade and a vision

to provide back to basic education to the children of Kingman. Along with that focus came the requirement of parent volunteerism, good attendance and good behavior. Through the years, our parents have helped to log over 20,000 hours of volunteer time each and every school year. We continue to focus on providing the highest quality education in the Kingman area.

This honor reflects the dedication of our incredible staffulty, students, families, and community partners who work together every day to build a culture of recognition, belonging, and achievement. We are excited, grateful, and truly honored to receive this prestigious recognition.
